Settings

The CPIx Layer generator tool can be configured using the Settings button to open the Settings page.

The settings options include optional tables for the various fields to be used. This allows fields to be chosen for different options. This includes different versions of the Uniclass table with the latest version being the default. However this allows project teams to use a legacy version of Uniclass if required. It is recommended that the default settings are used as this complies with BS1192 (2007).

Uniclass includes many categories many of which are not suitable for Layer classifications. It is therefore possible to select the Categories (Uniclass Tables) that you wish to use by ticking the appropriate Layer Categories in the settings.

Use the Save Settings to confirm the settings and return to the Layer Generator.

Use the Cancel button to return to the Layer Generator without making any changes.

Please note that new requests will only be added to the latest version of Uniclass and not to legacy versions.

This will open a new web page showing the CPIx Uniclass request tool

New Uniclass Codes can only be added to specific Uniclass tables that are available for review. Again codes can be select by either using the + feature of the Tree view or by typing search parameters in the classification search box

When the Uniclass code is selected the available code fields can be selected from the combo box and then the Layer Alias, Uniclass Description and any comments added. The Add Uniclass Request must then be selected to add the request.
